Recent results in the Municipality in the area of waste management were considerate at this meeting. It was concluded that Municipality of Kakanj has excellent results in disposal of municipal waste and coverage of this service. Also there are considered possibilities for further improvement in the area of recycling of packaging waste together with EKOPAK's contribution, because EKOPAK, Municipality of Kakanj and PUC Vodokom have already established cooperation.

After the meeting, the first bale of plastic packaging waste is symbolically pressed on the landfill, as sign that the recycling yard is put into service, which will provide that the all usable municipal waste is prepared for recycling and transport to recycling centers.
